Sheriff Flow – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sheriff Flow. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Sheriff Flow platform, operated by Sheriff Flow (Pty) Ltd and licensed by RSOP CoACtion Catalyst (Pty) Ltd. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

Sheriff Flow provides a technology platform that facilitates the delivery of legal documents to sheriffs. We do not offer legal advice or guarantee any legal outcome, sheriff acceptance, or timing of service. The user is responsible for ensuring documents are legally compliant.

User Responsibilities

You must provide accurate and complete information when placing orders.
You are solely responsible for the legal correctness and completeness of your documents.
You may not use the platform for unlawful purposes or to transmit fraudulent or misleading information.

Payments and Fees

All orders are subject to fees as shown on our platform at the time of purchase.
Payment is due upfront. No services will commence until payment is received.
A non-refundable cancellation fee of R99.95 applies to all order cancellations, regardless of order status.

Cancellations

To cancel an order, you must notify us via email at info@sheriffflow.com within 24 hours of placing the order and before the document is collected by a courier.

If your document has not yet been collected, only the courier fee may be refunded, and only at our discretion.
If the courier has already collected the document, no refunds (including courier fees) will be granted.

Limitation of Liability

Sheriff Flow is provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of our services.

We are not liable for any loss, delay, error, or consequence arising from your use of the platform, including failure of delivery or service of process. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, business interruption, reputational harm, or legal implications related to document delivery.

Privacy and Data Protection (POPIA)

Sheriff Flow complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We collect only the personal data necessary to provide our services and do not share your information with third parties unless required by law or with your consent. By using our platform, you consent to our collection and use of your data in line with these terms.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform, without prior notice, if:

You breach these terms;
You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity;
It is required by law or for operational reasons.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

Upload, submit, or transmit any content that is false, misleading, illegal, defamatory, harassing, or harmful;
Interfere with the operation or security of the platform or use it in any unauthorized manner.

Violation of this clause may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and legal action.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to first contact us at info@sheriffflow.com for informal resolution. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be referred to the appropriate court under South African jurisdiction, and South African law will apply.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. You are encouraged to review the Terms periodically.
